Our handcrafted marine rope mats are built for durability, performance, and timeless style. Each mat is carefully made by Tom Doubleday using heavy-duty polypropylene marine rope. The same rope trusted by commercial fishermen to tether lobster and crab traps to buoys in open water. This rope is engineered to handle extreme conditions including saltwater, heavy loads, and constant exposure to harsh weather.

Several hundred feet of marine rope are used to create every mat. The rope is carefully woven by hand into a strong, flexible design that holds its shape while providing excellent durability.
