Wisconsin Outdoor Mat Co. (“we,” “us”) runs wioutdoormats.com. This page explains what information we collect when you visit or shop with us, why we collect it, and who it’s shared with. We don’t sell your personal information.
What we collect
- When you order: your name, billing and shipping address, email address, phone number and what you bought. We need these to fill and ship your order and to contact you about it.
- Payment: card payments are processed by Square. Your full card number goes straight to Square; we never see or store it.
- When you contact us: the name, email and message you send through our contact form or by email.
- When you sign up for emails: your email address (and name, if you give it), so we can send you news and offers. You can unsubscribe at any time with the link in every email.
- When you browse: cookies that keep your cart working, plus basic visit statistics (pages viewed, general location, device and browser type) that help us improve the site.
Who we share it with
We share information only with the services that help us run the store:
- Square to process payments
- ShipStation and the shipping carrier (such as USPS or UPS) to create labels and deliver your order
- Mailchimp to send our emails, including order follow-ups and cart reminders if you leave items in your cart
- SiteGround, which hosts our website, and Jetpack (WordPress.com), which provides site statistics and security
We may also share information if the law requires it.
How long we keep it
We keep order records for as long as we need them for taxes, accounting and warranty questions. Email sign-ups are kept until you unsubscribe. Contact form messages are kept only as long as needed to answer you.
Your choices
- You can ask to see, correct or delete the personal information we have about you. We’ll keep only what we’re required to keep for legal or tax reasons.
- You can unsubscribe from our emails at any time.
- You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, but the cart and checkout may not work without them.
